Expertise & Leadership in Community Association Management
With almost thirty (30) years in the community association management field, Merrill Walker possesses experience in almost every area of association management. After several years managing homeowner and condominium associations, Mr. Walker began work with one of the South's largest and most successful Builder/Developer companies, John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods. Merrill led a dedicated management team as the Director of Neighborhood Associations for 10 years, growing the company eight-fold over this time span.
Merrill is a licensed Community Association Manager (CAM) with the Georgia Real Estate Commission. He also earned the prestigious PCAM designation through the Community Associations Institute (CAI), one of only 2200 PCAMs in the country. He has served as a guest speaker and educator for CAI local Georgia chapter courses. He also currently serves on CAI Committees for the Georgia chapter and was awarded the Educator of the Year award from the Georgia chapter of CAI.
Mr. Walker's varied background experiences in the landscaping and construction fields, as well as years working with volunteers in many different settings, provide a unique resource for the ACM team as they serve their neighborhoods. He continues to produce standard operating procedures for the formation of Policies and Procedures manuals. Merrill is committed to expanding ACM's dedicated and personal approach to association management.
